V. MRR Highlights from reddit
Some posts are clearly written by AI or simply ads/lier promotion. Reddit removed some of them, I filtered some too.
5.1 at $12k MRR mark but too close to burning out
Just reached $12k MRR after 5 months
I switched from a DFY offer to a DWY offer, working with people to build out their entire social media marketing funnel (content, lead funnel, email marketing, personal branding, etc)
5.2 My 1st paying customer! $58 MRR
Grow your Twitter account. That's how I goty most of the clients (103 to be exact) and reached 5k per month. Another one I did is to buy slots on newsletters like byte thesis, tldr, etc.
5.3 20K MRR in 1 month - Stripe destroyed everything in 1 second
Lost 10k MRR. Switched to paddle and everything has been fine since then.
Stripe absolutely cannot be trusted for subscriptions, especially if you have a free trial.
EDIT: Actually you can even fall into the zero value add prohibited business category as I assume you are using some off-the-shelf AI video clip service and just reselling a different front end to it.
"No value added services including the sale or resale of a service without added benefit to the buyer and resale of government offerings without authorization or added value"
5.4 How I added $24k in mrr by sending cold emails.
bought 50 new domains and created 3 inboxes on each. That brought our sending capacity from around 1k emails / day to around 4500 per day.
asked my developer to scrape around 20 directories, uploaded the lists to Clay, used apollo api to find founder first and last names and then used findymail + icypeas to find emails. That process got us around 7k email addresses to reach out to.
The more time you spend refining your list, the better your results are going to be
Tools I use (not affiliated with any) Findymail and Icypeas - finding emails from LI urls and names and dmoamins Clay - clean, score and enrich lists and build personalization points Gsuite - inboxes Instantly - email sequencer Porkbun - domains Apollo - finding founders and other target roles
5.5 Started a Skool. 1.2k MRR in one week using my email list
I then created a Facebook group for my niche. This is kind of wild, but it has 210k members in it. I got lucky and started it right when Facebook started promoting groups about 2 years ago and rode the wave of that. But, luck met me after I had already took action and started a Facebook group anyway.
I designed my course to be super simple, and took a screenshot of all of the lessons and threw those into my email marketing and marketing posts - this way they could see that the lessons were short and manageable. Nobody wants as freakin 15-20 lesson power course. Feels like a novel book - give me the info and let me go apply it.
5.6 replyhub.co [POSSIBLY AI WRITTEN]
From 0 to $344 MRR on autopilot in just 5 days
I set up the tool to track relevant discussions on Reddit, sending out personalized messages and engaging with users.
It was capturing leads and engaging users without my constant input
5.7 single video costed them 1150 and output
4000 USD MRR
How I turned a $1150 gig into a productized service idea
I went on Linkedin and reached 10 people, having growth marketing as their job titles.
5.8 OurBaby.pics Split.Cafe
i'm selling 2 AI projects for $1,000
5.9 How I leveraged Instagram account followings to make money/How I made $3,000 a month for the past two months
[SAME POST REPEATEDLY SENT]
[After a lot of grinding and a lot of messages I had gained clients and five months later I’m at the point where I have 31 affiliates selling my e books and courses in their bio. The total following of these accounts is 8.4 million followers across all platforms - a following I would not have been able to attain myself with my content creation skills.
The numbers, what everyone is here for! This method has generated me 11,000 in profit since January (50% of sales went to affiliates so
22,000 revenue). Things started out slow but are picking up fast, last month has been particularly good, generating me $3,000 in profit from easy and passive income.](https://www.reddit.com/r/socialmedia/comments/1dhb3oj/how_i_leveraged_instagram_account_followings_to/)
ask social media accounts with an established following to put the link in their bio and I would offer them a percentage of every sale they make (I offered a 50/50 cut)
targeted accounts with large followings that did not have any links currently in their bio
a lot of people have a great ability to create content, but perhaps do not have the business acumen or have the motivation to create a revenue stream themselves
Problems and issues I’ve encountered: understandingly so the accounts often want to see the product they are selling before they agree to be an affiliate for the product. I originally had a problem finding high quality products, I am not going to name the website I would recommend for those looking high quality plr on here as I received downvotes last time
Why do I recommend this method? 1.) Once established this method is completely passive 2.) You gain exposure to large followings that would take years to build. 3.) relatively low set up costs. The bundle I recommend purchasing is 199 and shopify monthly payments are roughly
50 per month. There are no other costs incurred. 4.) unlimited earnings potential. There’s no ceiling as to what you can earn. The more accounts that agree to become an affiliate for you the more you will make
5.10 no mention
No one comment so I replied: talk to your customer, why they paid you, ask for refer
